Tamara DavidsonDavidson trained in an advanced placement art program and received a degree in graphic design in 1995. Recently shown by the Beaverton Arts Commission and featured previously at Borders Books, she works in watercolors, acrylics and colored pencils. She has done commissioned work capturing moments in life such as the joy of children playing and painting scenes from nature and the ocean.

Davidson stated that as an artist, "Painting is an individual's interpretation of the beauty in this world and a way to touch others. I truly believe my purpose in life is to create."

For your information, Tamara is able to create commissioned pieces within a very short time frame. If interested in a different size or coloring, Tamara is happy to accommodate special requests. She has become a favorite as she paints from sites photographed along the Oregon Coast.

Artist’s Statement

I truly believe creating art is one of my purposes in life. Nothing gives
me greater joy except for spending time with my family and friends.

Currently, I am working in acrylics, but I also enjoy
creating in watercolors and colored pencil.

My inspiration comes from nature. I believe that God is the ultimate artist.
I enjoy painting flowers, seashells, and my favorite— the ever-changing ocean.

To me, art is an individual’s interpretation of the
beauty in this world and a way to touch others.

I hope that my art touches you in a special way.
