Fairweather House and Garden introduced a new artist, Tamara Davidson in February, during Seaside's First Saturday Art Walk. Davidson trained in an advanced placement art program and received a degree in graphic design in 1995. Recently shown by the Beaverton Arts Commission and featured previously at Borders Books, she works in watercolors, acrylics and colored pencils. She has done commissioned work capturing moments in life such as the joy of children playing and painting scenes from nature and the ocean. Davidson stated that as an artist, "Painting is an individual's interpretation of the beauty in this world and a way to touch others. I truly believe my purpose in life is to create."
For your information, Tamara is able to create commissioned pieces within a very short time frame. If interested in a different size or coloring, Tamara is happy to accommodate special requests. She has become a favorite as she paints from sites photographed along the Oregon Coast.
